Mashru is a traditional weave of India. Its speciality is the manner in which silk and cotton are interwoven such that one side appears to be pure silk and the other side of the stole appears to be pure cotton.

Mashru weaving was traditionally done in Gujrat and Aurangabad. While in Gujrat synethetic rayon is now used instead of pure silk, in Aurangabad, the weaving of Mashru had completely died out.

We are reviving this ancient weave in Aurangabad using pure silk and cotton yarns
