For the last 2 years, we have been working with a women's tailoring co-operative in Mumbai called Sahara Handicrafts. They named themselves Sahara as they truly believe they are one another's support in tough times. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the entire group badly and they are struggling to stay afloat as orders and

raw materials are both inaccessible.

BUT,

Resilient as always they began making masks with left-over fabrics. 

At LoomKatha, we are supporting them in this endeavour by helping to secure them orders.

We just completed an order for a 1000 pieces for RBI.

The entire sale value went directly to the group.

Please support us in this humble initiative to ensure that a group of proud, resourceful women can survive this difficult time. 

Masks are priced between Rs 20 to Rs 50 per piece
